The Challenge
inDrive is a global mobility and urban services platform operating in 48 countries and over 1,000 cities.

As the company continues its rapid growth, it faces a crucial challenge: developing senior leaders who lead other managers, navigate complexity, and translate strategy into action. These leaders at inDrive operate in a highly dynamic environment, balancing expectations from C-level stakeholders while supporting the managers and teams they lead through continuous change.
To better understand the needs of its senior leaders, the L&D team conducted a series of interviews and internal research, revealing that participants valued practical, experience- based learning tailored to their real challenges and personal development over traditional leadership programmes built around abstract theories, generic case studies, and a one-size-fits-all approach.
The key success metric for leadership development was leaders’ ability to translate new skills into consistent on-the-job behaviour.
The Solution
Together with Elatra, inDrive launched its Leadership Accelerator programme based on a new approach to leadership development combining workshops, self-assessment, and personalized coaching to ensure that learning translated into meaningful behavioural change.

Coaching was intentionally positioned between learning modules, based on three priorities:
  • Knowledge Transfer

Elatra designed a guided coaching journey that ensures learning is continuously translated into day-to-day leadership behaviour through structured application and reflection.

Before each coaching session participants received short learning content, after they completed practical assignments in their own work environment, followed by structured reflection to reinforce learning and prepare for the next session. This created a continuous learning loop, enabling leaders to consistently connect coaching conversations with real-world applications and embed new behaviours over time.
  • Engagement

The participant experience was intentionally designed to remove barriers to participation. Elatra's single digital platform brought together coach matching, scheduling, learning resources, reflections, and progress tracking, supported by a programme kick-off session and dedicated Customer Success throughout the journey.

This ensured coaching was easy to access, easy to navigate, and easy to sustain.
  • Satisfaction
Flexibility in session booking allowed participants to adapt coaching around their workload. At the same time, strong emphasis was placed on coach quality and relevance: each participant was matched with coaches who combined professional coaching qualifications with real corporate leadership experience.

This approach was expected to drive a high level of satisfaction by ensuring coaching felt both easy to engage with and highly relevant to participants’ leadership context.

Feedback from Employees
Marketing Director at InDrive
"During a period of increased complexity — an intense phase of strategic planning and organizational change — coaching gave me the space to pause and think more clearly. The biggest outcome for me was clarity on what I need and want to focus on. I’m grateful to my coach for creating a safe, focused environment to reflect and work through real challenges.

I would especially recommend this program to leaders navigating fast-changing environments and managing broad, high-complexity scopes."
Global Director of Public Policy and Government Affairs at InDrive
"My individual coaching session with Tatiana was truly impactful. It helped me gain a much deeper awareness of my emotions and how they influence my behavior and decision-making. This new level of emotional understanding allowed me to move to a qualitatively higher level of both internal reflection and external communication, making my interactions more engaged, open and effective."
Director of Operations Department at InDrive
"My initial request transformed into a complex request to work on the Visibility of the team and personal results, increase resistance in a time of turbulence, give feedback and resolve conflicts. Coaching gave me clear instruments like what actions shall be made towards the visibility, how to build and keep borders, and how to manage difficult conversations.

This program is especially useful for leaders who are facing increased complexity in their roles, who are going through organisational transformations."
Head of Service Compliance at InDrive
"I had a concrete significant problem that disturbed my work and daily life - loss of self confidence and lack of ownership after certain events.

After workshops and sessions with my couch i saw a solid result - my boundaries were strengthen, feeling of confidence improved as well as sense of ownership. I personally extremely grateful to my coach Artem who immediately identified roots of my problems and helped me to work them out.

The program would be helpful for literally everyone during the turbulent times."
