The company ScienceSoft has over 800 employees who work globally across multiple countries with over 50% of the talent pool of senior-level experts.


The company recognized the need to strengthen its talent development strategy according to two key challenges faced by its leaders, particularly those managing remote and hybrid teams:

    With the company’s growth, managers encountered the need of keeping their teams working together smoothly and communicating effectively, especially in a dispersed work environment. They required support in enhancing their leadership style in order to enrich internal communication ensuring that everyone stayed engaged and connected.

    Strengthening Networking and Visibility to Senior Management
    The company recognized the importance of fostering a culture of networking among leaders to prevent isolation and enhance cross-departmental collaboration. Effective networking could also provide leaders with access to valuable resources and mentorship, which are crucial for their professional development.

    Additionally, some leaders aimed to elevate their visibility with senior management, highlighting the need for targeted support in developing this skill. Visibility is just as important as networking, as it enables leaders to showcase their achievements and influence strategic decisions, both of which are essential for gaining support for their initiatives.
The VP of ScienceSoft made the decision to choose a group of managers and launch a pilot coaching program with Elatra aimed at enhancing their leadership skills while measuring its effectiveness. If the pilot program proves successful, it has the potential to be scaled across the entire company.
The Solution
To address ScienceSoft's needs, we proposed a targeted coaching program "Coach2Lead", specifically designed to empower leaders with effective coaching skills to enhance their leadership style, enrich internal communication, and improve management effectiveness.

We provided our customer with access to the platform that covered the entire coaching cycle — from onboarding with an intake questionnaire that helped identify key development areas and match participants with relevant coaches, to conducting 1:1 sessions and evaluating results.

At the end of the program, all participants completed an anonymized assessment to evaluate the progress they had made toward their goals and areas for development.
Key results
General Coaching Experience
  • All of the participants experienced coaching for the first time.

  • An impressive 100% of participants found coaching to be a relevant tool for their personal and professional development. Additionally, 100% of the leaders reported that coaching with Elatra met or even exceeded their expectations.
  • The entire program received high satisfaction ratings: 5/5 for session usefulness and 5/5 for coach effectiveness.
Goal Achievement
  • All of the respondents (100%) reported making progress toward their goals and noticed a positive impact.

  • In their feedback, managers highlighted significant improvements in communication, collaboration, and emotional intelligence — the key focus areas of the coaching program.

  • The main skills and competencies improved within the program included building rapport and trust, maintaining presence, acknowledging others, giving feedback, managing personal state and applying GROW model.
Performance
  • All of the respondents reported improvement in performance, productivity, and motivation, with 100% experiencing from moderate to significant improvement in performance, 89% noticing from moderate to significant improvement in motivation and 87% seeing from moderate to significant increase in productivity.
User Experience of the Elatra Platform
  • 80% of the participants found the resources shared on the Elatra platform to be very helpful, contributing to the overall positive coaching experience.

  • 100% of the participants would recommend coaching to their colleagues.

Summary

The coaching program "Coach2Lead" was successfully piloted and resulted in positive individual outcomes, bringing awareness and encouragement to apply new approaches to their leadership styles.


By introducing managers to coaching with Elatra, the company successfully laid the foundation for scaling a sustainable coaching culture that will create a "ripple effect", influencing team communication, collaboration, and ultimately, the company culture.
